Tom, can you hear the sun's ray
rustling in your still living heart?
Do you know how long
this journey took for me
to find your lost loneliness?
I asked you for too much.
You couldn't give me tears,
you couldn't dedicate the fear
of the end of this noisy
but so empty story.
But I knew you had to fall asleep
while the stars were trapped
in the night sky, while the universe
was knocking at the open door.
Tom, fire in the fireplace
is bouncing happily,
your heart is filled with
eternal ice.
Why, why can't you break away
from suffering?
Why does fear give you satisfaction?
I know, Tom, you're scared.
You're afraid of yourself.
Please don't run away from tears,
don't bypass the longing of love.
I promise that sometimes
it's worth feeling too much.
