Tom! Dear Tom... Why did you abandon
your solitude so early?
Why did you hastily leave
the scarlet, timorous wind?
You're leaving because
your last dying star woke you up.
That evening you cried
painfully and bitterly.
When I look into the depths
of your eyes, I see the echo
of my soul.
The shadow that brutally lied
to you is not conducive
to eternity today, it does not conflict
with the truth.
It was pain, this terrible suffering
that made you abandon
your unfaithful tear,
that made you defy happiness.
Tom, I'm begging you,
your broken heart,
your heart without its shine.
Let the solitude that saved you
show us
the right path to remembrance,
to memories sunk
in the lethargy of illusion.
Even if you don't know it,
I want your freedom,
I need your grace.
The echo of our crying
will mark your longing for
what is insignificant but so powerful.
Tom, share your loneliness
with me, and I will prove to you
that sometimes it's worth loving.
